Till recently, Indian national who have acquired passport of another country while in India and needed endorsement of visa, has to await for approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Foreigners Division, New Delhi
However, after the Government of Goa took up the matter with the Government of India, the ministry of Home Affairs has delegated powers to all the FRROs in India to grant visa endorsement, so also exit permission. This has facilitated foreign citizens of Goan origin who have acquired nationality/passport of another country while in Goa, to get the visa endorsement from FRRO Goa.
